Dr. Christine Senneca, originally from Long Island, NY, has joined the Southeast Veterinary Neurology team after establishing and building a thriving neurology service in Pennsylvania. She obtained her bachelor’s degree with high honors from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Senneca achieved board certification in veterinary neurology and also obtained her advanced neurosurgery certificate from the American College of Veterinary Medicine shortly after completing a three-year neurology and neurosurgery residency at the University of Florida.
Dr. Senneca has a particular interest in neurosurgery and the treatment of spinal cord injuries, but enjoys all aspects of veterinary neurology.
Some fun facts about Dr. Christine Senneca: She was a competitive springboard diver in high school and college, but now loves to SCUBA dive. She loves to travel and even though she doesn’t like the cold, she visited Antarctica in 2013. She thought it was absolutely incredible and would definitely visit again if the opportunity arose. She is fascinated by Cirque de Soleil performances and aspires to be an aerial acrobat in her next life!
