Dr. Elizabeth Sigman attended the University of Florida to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 1997. After practicing in Austin, Texas for 5 years, she returned to her home state of Florida. She practiced as an associate veterinarian in the Sebastian/Vero Beach area for 10 years. In 2013, the excitement of emergency veterinary medicine called and she has been practicing in Palm Beach County since.
Her interest in veterinary medicine started at an early age. Her parents raised and Schutzhund trained Doberman Pinschers and German Shepherds as she was growing up so there was always a personal bodyguard sharing her bed. Dr. Elizabeth Sigman is a native Floridian and enjoys kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, and visiting the area theme parks.
At home, she stays busy taking care of her diverse family of 2 animal loving teenage children, 5 cats, 2 fish tanks (one salt & one freshwater), and 1 very cool Ball Python named Brownie.
